615,558. Thermally-actuated valves. BARNSLEY, Ltd., W., BARNSLEY, H. B., and BISSELL, W. April 3, 1946, No. 10229. [Class 135] A temperature control means for gas-heated ovens comprises a casing A containing a spring-loaded valve c controlling the gas flow from the inlet a<1> to the outlet from an annular chamber a<3>, operated by a rod and tube thermostat N, M. The rod acts through a plunger G, a ball or roller F and a plunger E bearing on a setting screw c<1> screwed axially through the valve. Rotation of the knob J of the temperature adjusting means perpendicular to the axis of the valve alters the position of the valve by the plunger H moving the ball F along the cam surface e on the plunger E.
