[Class 1.10 (i)] In a centrifugal fan having angularly adjustable guide blades in the annular passage leading to the inlet eye. These blades and the rotor blades are of aerofoil section. The chordal length of the guide blades is approximately equal to their mean pitch and their thickness is at least one-tenth of their chordal length.
