601,889. Nesting furniture. AVERY, R. Oct. 10, 1945, No. 26431. [Class 52 (ii)] A chair or table constructed for nesting comprises two transverse supporting members a, b, of substantially inverted U-shape which are inclined to one another so that the widest spacing of the members occurs at their lower ends. The members a, b, are connected by ties e, f which may be welded thereto at varying levels as desired, or the ties may be formed integral with the support members a, b at the lower ends thereof.
