Abstract

Table frames.-Articles of furniture such as tables having three feet n to stand firmly on an uneven floor, have pivoted at the lower end of one or more of these feet a bow-shaped member a, the downwardly directed limbs of which rest on the floor. The pins t by which the bow-shaped members a are pivoted to the feet are horizontal and lie in a vertical plane, passing through the foot and the vertical axis of symmetry of the article of furniture, in order that the area of support for the article may be extended to the utmost.
