Abstract

In the manufacture of tapered conductor wires by anodic reduction in a series of electrolytic cells the wire used may be of an alloy having the following composition: nickel 35 per cent, chromium 9 per cent, manganese 1.6 per cent, silicon 1 per cent, carbon 0.04 to 0.1 per cent, iron, the balance.
