Abstract
297,594. Anstey, H. C., and Bolton, T. Nov. 15, 1927. Conductive materials; cores for cables.-The core 1 of a cable is formed of seamed hollow tubes, preferably of a high tensile. copper alloy, stranded to form a cable or a core for a composite cable. Solid high-conductivity wires 2 may be stranded over the core 1, and solid high-tensile wires 3 are preferably interwoven with the wires 2. Phosphor or aluminium bronze may be used as a high-tensile alloy, and copper or cadmium copper as a highconductivity material.
