[Class 64 (i)] [Also in Group XI] In a .fireplace, as shown in Specification 585,253, having an open grate and a flue passing below and behind the boiler, the boiler is provided at the back with discontinuous aligned fins 10 which lie in the direction of gas flow and extend completely across the flue. Each fin tapers upwards tc minimise the soot-retaining surface. The Provisional Specification states that the fins may be continuous.
