[Class 64 (i)] [Also in Group XI] An open fireplace comprises a front combustion space 3 and a rear combustion space 4 enclosed in a boiler 1. Communication between the front and rear combustion spaces is by way of a passage 4a. The fuel in the combustion space 4 rests on an imperforate wall 5 of the boiler.
