Abstract

Soap compositions contain a proportion of guanidine stearate The soaps comprise alkali soaps and rosin soaps or mixtures thereof which may include small amounts of the usual added ingredients, such as glycerine and perfumes, but are preferably of the unfilled type. The products may be in the form of cakes, bars, flakes, powders, threads, ribbons, sheets &c. In comparison tests, soaps containing guanidine laurate and guanidine myristate respectively are used.
