Abstract

577,337. Two-part couplings. NOVOBAX, Ltd., and SHARMAN, A. V. Feb. 17, 1944, No. 3008. [Class 38 (i)] A plug having a recessed insulating housing 10 and cover 11 is provided with free contact pins 13, each threaded axially for clamping screws 19 and provided with two diametrically opposed upstanding arcuate lugs 20 embracing the screw head 21, to hold the lead wire securely, and two laterally extending ears 22 to engage recesses 23 in the housing and prevent rotation of the pins. Projections 27 on bosses 26 on the cover 11 abut the lugs 20 and prevent axial movement of the pins. Specification 516,205 is referred to.
