[Classes 24 and 44] [Also in Group XXX] Means for attaching rope ends to parts of machines for example the side poles and trough of an agricultural elevator, comprises a block 1 having an adjustable stirrup 2 to which the end of the rope is secured, the block receiving a grooved pin 4 on, for example, an elevator trough and being fitted with a spring-controlled locking member 5 normally engaging in the groove of the pin but which can be operated to release the pin by depressing its knob 7 to bring a part 8 opposite the pin. The leg 9 of the member 5 may be lengthened and provided with a cut-away part similar to 8.
