Abstract

1,227,230. Water-skiing tow bar. TRANSWORLD ENTERPRISES Ltd. 30 Dec., 1969 [30 Dec., 1968], No. 61691/68. Heading B7A. A water-skiing tow bar 10 comprises a tube 11 covered by a resilient sleeve 12 and two end plugs 13, 14 frictionally fitted in the tube 11 and each having an axial bore 22 and a transverse bore 24. The end portions 15, 16 of the forked end of a tow rope are passed through the bores 24 and 21 and knotted. The shank 18 may be provided with axial ribs (30) on its external surface.
