Abstract
574,590. Conveyers. LOWE, C. S. Jan. 28, 1944, No. 1660. [Class 78 (i)] In an endless belt conveyer the brackets carrying the idler rollers are constructed so that they can be mounted on their supports in either of two different ways, the belt being flat in one case and troughed in the other. The outer rollers 30, 32 of a set of three idlers are supported by members 40, 41 which are formed integral with a base member 39 and connected by a similar member 47. Either of these base members can be secured to the support 20 by bolts 64 passed through apertures 43, 44. When the member 47 is in use, the rollers are horizontal. The apertures 43, 44 may be replaced by open-ended slots to facilitate detachment.
