Abstract

567,908. Foundations. DUNCAN, R. A. Sept. 2, 1943, No. 14343. [Class 68 (ii)] A foundation for a building structure comprises a box plate 1 having a number of slots or ground guides 2 through which reforced concrete piles 3 are driven into the ground, and a cover member, not shown resting on top of the box plate after the piles are driven. Locking rings 5 are provided and the piles may be formed with metal lined toes and sheathing.
