[Class 64 (i)] In a cooling tower, the supporting posts b are provided with recesses for the reception of the ends of the beams c. A recess may extend from end to end of a post, distance pieces d being placed between the superposed beams, or a recess may be in sections with solid stops between the sections. The ends of the beams may be keyed in the posts. The posts and beams may be made, of reinforced concrete.
