[Class 99 (i)] Flared pipe ends are clamped on a doubleconical bush c having resilient packing rings d by collars e loosely mounted on the pipes and having screwthreads of opposite hands and a sleeve f in screw-threaded engagement with each collar. The joint may be locked by a grub-screw (not shown) engaging the flange c<2> of the bush.
