563,848. Electromagnetic interrupters. BONE, A. D. May 14, 1943, No. 7688. [Class 38 (v)] An electromagnetic interrupter suitable for an electric clock comprises a contact rod C pivoted at its lower end on a bracket B carried by a pendulum A and movable between a stop H and a con. tact G, engagement of the contact G completing a circuit to a magnet D4 which attracts ar armature T on the pendulum and thus gives an impulse tc the pendulum once every complete oscillation. When the pendulum reaches its left-hand position the rod C falls so as to engage G and energize the magnet. Energization lasts till the centre position is reached when the rod falls over to engage H.
