Abstract
947,824. Snap-action switches. TELEMECANIQUE ELECTRIQUE. Dec. 19, 1961 [Dec. 23, 1960], No. 45476/61. Heading H2B. [Also in Division F2] A switching arrangement comprises a microswitch actuated via a U-spring and a twolever rocker device by an arm on a sleeve engaging a fixed screw, the sleeve and the arm moving over a helical path. The sleeve 5 is mounted on a mechanically driven shaft 1 and is rotated by a coupling member 9, the sleeve also being threaded on a fixed screw 3 so that the sleeve also moves axially. The sleeve carries operating arms 16 which co-operate with the forked end 25 of a lever 20 pivoted at 22, the lever 20 being connected to a further lever 21, also pivoted at 22, by the U-spring 24. The free end 26 of the lever 21 bears on the plunger 27 of the micro-switch 18. The coupling member 9 and the sleeve 5 are connected in such a way as to disengage when the sleeve 5 reaches the end of its axial travel or if an arm 16 incorrectly engages a fork 25.
