562,849. Spindles for spinning &c. frames. TRIGGS, W. W. (Spindel- Motoren und Maschinenfabrik Akt.-Ges. vorm. Weber & Co.). July 10, 1942, No. 9626. [Class 120 (ii)] The sleeve a for the spindle h of a spinning and twisting frame is mounted on curved or crowned shoulders b, c between the base d and head e of the spindle and has slight axial play between the base and head. The shoulders may be grooved to accommodate elastic rings f, f which press upon the inner surface of the sleeve. The sleeve may have a number of longitudinal grooves k which deepen towards the narrower end of the tube and stiffen it.
