Abstract

562,323. Cooking ovens. DAVIES, E. S., and WELLS, F. G..Jan. 29, 1943, No. 1554. [Class 126] [Also in Group XXV] The door 2 of a cooking stove oven is hinged at its bottom edge to pintles 3 engaging guide slots 4 in the oven casing so that on the door being turned to its fully open position it may be slid horizontally into a space 5 under the oven. The oven runners 6 for supporting grids or cooking utensils may be carried by a frame 7 mounted slidably in guide channels 8 in the oven casing and connected to the pintles 3 by slotted rods 9 pivoted on pins 12 on the oven side walls so that the horizontal movement of the door 2 moves the runners forwardly out of the oven.
