559,699. Lenses. TAYLOR, TAYLOR & HOBSON, Ltd., WARMISHAM, A., and WYNNE, C. G. Aug. 26, 1942, No. 12031. Addition to 547,666. Drawings to Specification. [Class 97 (i)] An objective in accordance with the parent Specification comprises a simple divergent component located between two convergent components of which one is a simple element and the other consists of a divergent element of potassium bromide crystal cemented between two convergent elements of glass. The middle component may be of dense flint glass, the simple convergent component may be of crown glass, and one of the convergent elements cemented to the crystal element may be of dense flint glass. Data for two examples, in which the simple convergent component is, respectively, the first and third component, are set out.
