[Class 135] A valve for a hydraulic control system has a solid spindle 1 carrying a sleeve 2 having two sets of ducts 8 connecting annular ports 7. The casing has an annular pressure inlet 5, an annular exhaust port 5y, and annular ports 5x connected to a working cylinder. End chambers 9 are connected together by passages 11, 12, 13.
