553,516. Supporting pipes. TURNER & NEWALL Ltd., STONE, C. J., and AMOR, W. A. Jan. 15, 1942, No. 636. [Class 99 (ii)] Means for fixing an asbestos-cement or other non- metallic pipe vertically to a wall or the like comprises a curved plate 3 attached to the back of the pipe 1 by bolts 2, and having a depending portion 4 cranked at 5 so that the part 6 may enter a socket 8 formed in a plate 7 attached to the wall. In modifications, the plate 7 may consist of a vertical channel piece forming the socket, and the plate 4 may be a straight piece attached to the plate 3 by a distance piece.
