[Class 102 (ii)] [Also in Group VI] Beer, stout &c. are conditioned for dispensing by connecting the casks x ... x<SP>2</SP> by flexible pipes to the separate compartments formed by partitions A<SP>1</SP> in an expansion vessel A connected through a filtering chamber D with a three-way valve which either admits air under ordinary pressure through a non-return valve L<SP>1</SP>, or compressed air from a compressor J, or carbon dioxide under pressure from a bottle K. The three-way valve may be operated by remote control situated in the bar. The inlet pipe to the chamber D may be provided with a temperature regulating chamber into which a heating or cooling device may be inserted.
