Abstract

549,145. Gas cookers. TURLEY & WILLIAMS, Ltd., SMITH. C. D., and OTTON, D. H. Jan. 20, 1942, No. 4659/41. [Class 126] A gas cooker having a low temperature oven 2, Fig. 1, is provided with a flue 8 spaced from the rear wall of the oven 2 and heated by a burner 13, Fig. 2, situated at its lower end. Air for combustion is supplied to the flue through a tube 11 at its lower end and combustion products escape from a similar tube 11 at its upper end. The tubes 11 terminate in brackets 9, 10 which support the flue 8 and are arranged in the insulating material of the oven. A cover plate 18 for an opening in the bracket 10 supports a baffle 17.
