[Class 117] In plansifters comprising a nest of super-imposed sieves, preferably arranged in the form of drawers in a cabinet frame, humid air is withdrawn by one or more ducts 1 connected to a suction pump and in communication with the spaces 6 between the sieves and also with the passages by which the sifted products are discharged. The inlets 4 to the ducts 1 may communicate with the spaces 6 by recessed channels 5 cut in the sides of the sieve frames. Specifications 548,881 and 548,882 are referred to.
