544,911. Lathe tool-holders. JONES, H. Oct 21, 1941, No. 13499. [Class 83 (iii)] Lathe tool-holders have a shank 1 having a circular extension 2 on which is secured by a pad bolt 7 a block 3 having a base parallel to that receiving the part 2 but coned at one end to receive a collet 4 in which the tool 6 is mounted the collet being closed by a nut. The holder provides independent adjustments for centre, height and front rake.
