Abstract
541,017. Sheltering supports. WHEELER, G. J. May 7, 1940, No. 8201. [Class 20 (ii)] A shuttering clamp for use with internal or external shutters for casting walls, lintels and the like in situ comprises channel-section legs 4a joined at their upper ends to two or more transverse members each of which is provided with a coarse and fine adjustment. Each transverse member by a pinch screw 7 for the coarse adjustment, enlarged head 9 secured to one leg of the clamp and a screwed rod 6 with outer and inner nuts 11a, the rod being clamped in the tubular member by a pinch screw 7 for the coarse adjustment, and the nuts giving the final setting.
