Abstract

1,102,423. Shuttering for casting floors. SMITHS INDUSTRIES Ltd. 11, Aug., 1966 [18, June, 1965], No. 25932/65. Heading E1S. Floor shuttering 25 is mounted on a tubular support 11 slidable on a prop 10 and which can be lowered to remove the shuttering while the concrete floor is still supported by the head plate 32 of the prop. The tube 11 may be lowered by a nut 15 resting on a pin 18 in a bole in the prop and engaging a screw thread on the tube or by a cam Fig. 2 (not shown). The ends of the shuttering joists engage over dowels on top of the tube 11.
