Abstract

538,499. Endless track vehicles. SEILER, K. April 26, 1940, No. 7537, Convention date, April 27, 1939. [Class 79 (i)] An endless track is provided with resilientlymounted feet or sole plates 11 each of which is carried by a hollow pin 1 sliding in a cylinder 2 carried by a track link 20 and is forced outwards by a spring 5, the outward movement being limited by the engagement of a flange 3 on the pin with an abutment 4 on the cylinder. In the construction shown the .spring 5 bears against a detachable head 6 of the cylinder. The foot is also detachable and is secured by a bolt 8 and pins 9, 10. Each link is provided with rollers 14 running between guides 15 fixed on the vehicle.
