478,876. Endless tracks for vehicles. ZAVODY TATRA AKCIOVA SPOLECNOST PRO STAVBU AUTOMOBILU A ZELEZNICNICH VOZU. July 28, 1937, No. 20943. Convention date, Aug. 19, 1936. Addition to 478,866. [Class 79 (i)] In a track having rubber or like tread blocks 5 and openings 6 in the links or track band as claimed in the parent Specification, the rubber blocks are provided only in the centre of the track. As described in the parent Specification, the rubber blocks constitute a small part only, say 1/20 to 1/24 of the total track area, so that the load per unit area on the rubber on a hard road may be approximately the same as on pneumatic-tyred wheels. In the construction shown the track comprises links 1 connected together by hinge pins 4.
