[Class 123 (ii)] In a locomotive firebox having longitudinal flat water chambers 31 opening into the'top and bottom water spaces, to ensure a rigid firebox crown sheet 12, each chamber has two elongated outlet openings 35; 36 separated by a part 42 of the crown sheet which is stayed to the top 16 of the shell.
