[Class 123 (ii)] A Cornish or like boiler has a dished front plate 10 and a suitably stayed flat back plate 12, and the furnace flue 9 is connected to the front plate by flanging the aperture 11 in the plate outwardly or inwardly and to the back plate by flanging the flue end outwardly, or by flanging the aperture in the plate inwardly.
