[Class 20 (iii)] In mechanism for opening and closing a windscreen and comprising a rack 19 which is moved up and down on the frame by the rotation of a shaft 10 having a gear wheel 18 engaging the rack as described in Specification 492,388, the rack carries a slide block 25 engaging a link 29 pivoted to a bracket 27 on the frame and to a sliding member 32 on a bar 34 secured to the screen.
