Abstract
527,265. Furnace walls. IVOR POWER SPECIALITY CO., Ltd., and GREEN S. R. April 5, 1939, No. 10650. [Class 51 (i)] In boiler furnaces where both faces of internal partition walls are subject to heat, the walls are cooled by tubes a, Fig 2, through which air is circulated. The bricks d are recessed at e as shown in Figs. 3, 4 and 6 to receive one or more pipes a. The side faces of the bricks may be grooved at f to receive asbestos rope or fireclay. In a modification the faces of the bricks are corrugated.
