Abstract
525,984. Floor centring. GREEN, D. H., and TRUSSED CONCRETE STEEL CO., Ltd. March 4, 1939, No. 7172. [Class 20 (ii)] Floor shuttering of the kind comprising a plurality of beare. oeams 10 and inverted troughs 11 disposed between and parallel with the beams, has the edges of the troughs stiffened by forming them with downwardly directed flanges 12 dished to concave form on the outside. Preferably the troughs are wider at the upper ends of the depending flanges than at the free ends, so that these ends are spaced apart from the sides of the beams while the upper ends contact therewith. The flanges are secured between the sides of the beams and nailing strips 13. The ends of the troughs may be joggled to interfit.
