Abstract

519,376. Vehicle windows. WILSON, F. W. Sept. 21, 1938, No. 27534. [Class 20 (iii)] A hinged window F is carried by a pair of slotted studs E rotatably mounted in the upper and lower members of a fixed frame A, the forward half of which-is provided with a flange A<1> to receive resilient packing (such as rubber tubing G) for abutment, by the window in the closed position. In the construction shown, the rear half of the frame is provided with a similarly-packed flange A<2>. The forward edge of the frame may be fitted with a flange having projecting resilient packing to engage the pillar of the front windscreen.
