Abstract

519,202. Heating water. DARBY, H. G. Sept. 17, 1938, No. 27145. [Class 64 (i)] A water heater consists of a horizontal elongated chamber 5 having external ribs 18 and provided with internal partitions 21 containing the water to flow in a sinuous path from the inlet 22 to the outlet 31. The chamber is heated by a burner 15 the gas supply to which is controlled by a thermostat 33 at the water inlet.
