Abstract
516,392. Reservoir nibs. HUGHES, H. R. June 25. 1938, No. 18866. [Class 146 (iii)] A reservoir-nib is constituted by a metal plate pivotally mounted on the nib intermediate its ends so that the ends bear flexibly on the pointed end of the nib and on a non-flexible part in the rear of the pivot. The plate 1 which is bowed longitudinally, as by bending on the lines 6 is provided with projections 3 engaging apertures in the sides of the nib. The front end of plate may be bifurcated to prevent interference with the flexing of the nib.
