Abstract
512,794. Renewable writing surfaces. STEVENS, A. H. (Strathmore Co.). March 15, 1938, No. 8028. [Class 146 (ii)] In a re-usable writing tablet of the kind comprisirig a base sheet 11 coated with a darkcoloured waxy material, a semi-opaque sheet 12 overlying the sheet 11, and a top sheet 13 of transparent material, ,there is provided for use ther,ewith a problem sheet which is adapted to be removably inserted between the sheets 12 and 13, this sheet being substantially transparent and sufficiently flexible to permit transference of lines of pressure so that the solution to a problem, when written on the top sheet 13 and made visible by the adherence between the sheets 11 and 12, may be seen by the user. A transparent answer sheet can be substituted for the problem sheet to facilitate checking the user's answers. The sheets 12, 13 are stapled to the base sheet 11 at opposite edges of the latter.
