Abstract
411,993. Display cards. JOHNSON & JOHNSON (GT. BRITAIN), Ltd., and BLEASDALE, J. F., Fairlie Road, Slough, Bucking- hamshire. March 9, 1933, No. 7210. [Class 3 (ii).] A display card comprises a base having one or more apertures and an element or elements presenting an adhesive surface within or opposite the apertures, whereby the articles to be displayed are supported by adherence to said surface. As shown in the Figure, tubes 1 for toilet powders, cosmetics &c. are supported on a cardboard sheet 2 by adherence to the portions of an adhesive tape 4 opposite apertures 3 in the sheet. In a modification, the sheet 2 is formed with ledges which provide an additional support for the tubes. The element 4 may comprise a sheet or band of paper, regenerated cellulose or fabric coated with a plaster or adhesive of the pressure sensitive type, and is preferably secured to the sheet 2 by the adhesive.
