Abstract

512,712. Contact-members for switches. DORMAN & SMITH, Ltd., and SMALLEY, T. Feb. 17, 1938, No. 4894. [Class 38 (v)] In a snap action switch in which movable contacts 10 are mounted on a rotatable bar 9 which extends across a switch case 5, the bar 9 is removable to allow access to leads 14. The bar 9 is supported at one end by a two pin plug and socket joint with a barrel 7 which carries snap action mechanism operated by a handle 6, and at the other end by a spigot and socket joint with a screw 8. Upon unscrewing the member 8 the bar 9 is removable.
