[Class 110 (i)] In a water-ring pump having a rotor 3 mounted on conical port member 15 within an eccentric stator providing one lobe or. crescent-shaped chamber, the inlet and outlet ports in the member 15 extend over arcs not less than 110 degrees and 70 degrees, respectively..The tips of the rotor vanes are curved.
