Abstract

499,585. Rotary pumps. GARABELLO, F. G. Sept. 29, 1938, No. 28338. Convention date, Sept. 30, 1937. [Class 110 (ii)] Means to regulate the delivery of a pump having vanes 10 positioned in an eccentric rotor 8, comprises a rotatable end disc 12 provided with a hole 20. The latter byepasses fluid from the crescent-shaped working chamber back to the suction port 6, and its position may be varied by rotating the disc by means of a head 16. A recess 19 places a cavity 14<1> in communication with the suction port. Stop pins 17 are provided in the cover 14, and a pin 18 on the disc 12, to limit the angular position of the latter.
