510,357. Refrigerators. POWELL. E. M. L. Dec. 31, 1937, No. 36258. [Class 29] A domestic cabinet is provided with three storage compartments at different temperatures, one compartment 2 having an evaporator or cooling unit 5 located near the top, another compartment 3 below the first being separated from it by a removable grating shelf 6 or by a shelf having openings controllable by a slide, while the third compartment 4 is at the side of the others and communicates therewith through openings 8, 9, preferably controlled by dampers 10, Fig. 2, actuated manually or by a thermostat 11. A refrigerating-machine may be located in a base compartment 18. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 320,412, 327,174, [both in Class 29], and U.S.A. Specification 1,824,774.
