[Class 22] A composition for dressing a road or like surface comprises bitumen, tar, or a bituminous solution mixed with particles of rubber waste. The rubber, e.g., old tyres, is broken or ground into pieces conveniently of a size which will pass a 25 mesh sieve, and, in amount, constitutes from 5 to 10 per cent. of the composition.
