Abstract

505,718. Spraying - apparatus. SIGMUND, J. May 5, 1938, No. 13489. [Class 69 (iii)] An apparatus for decontaminating people, objects, &c. attacked by war chemicals comprises a water container 1 provided with a pump 4 leading to a mixing cock 11 which is supplied with decontaminating liquid contained in a pressure chamber 9 whence it is delivered to a sprayer 7. Two or more pressure chambers 9 may be employed connected either to a common or separate mixing cock. In place of a mixing cock an injector may be employed to withdraw decontamination liquid from a vessel, and introduce it into the water stream.
