Abstract
503,803. Electromagnetic switches. AUTOPHON AKT.-GES. Oct. 21, 1937, No. 28790. Convention date, Oct. 21, 1936. [Class 38 (v)] [Also in Group XXXVIII] A signalling installation for summoning servants in places such as hotels, comprises a number of keys for operating corresponding signals such as lamps and a relay common to all the keys, the armature of the relay being mechanically held in the displaced position when the relay is energized. The contrivance for mechanically holding the relay actuated comprises a plunger AT, Fig. 2, having a pair of stops ZI and ZII on its shank. The armature A carries an extension AB which rests on the shank of the plunger. When the armature is attracted by the pole K the plunger is released and is moved by the spring F until the stop ZII abuts against the part AB. On further movement of the armature the plunger is again released and moves so that the part AB rests on the stop ZII. When the part AB rests on the stop ZI the contact rI is actuated and when it rests on the stop ZII the contact rII is also actuated. The plunger is pressed in by hand to re-set the relay.
