Abstract
503,724. Water - tube hot water boilers. JUNKERS & CO., GES. Aug. 15, 1938, No. 24004. Convention date, Aug. 14, 1937. [Class 64 (i)] A gilled member for liquid heaters comprises several parallel tubes 14-16 in a horizontal plane which are traversed by liquid and carry fins 12 extending across the whole area of the heater, the tube or tubes in the central zone of the heating gases being of larger diameter than those in the outer zone of the gas current. The central tube 15 is of larger diameter throughout or is widened from both ends in vesicular form towards the middle. The liquid is fed through a tube 11 coiled round a casing 10 to the tube 14 and passes from tube 16 through upper tubes 17.
