502,824. Valve discharge waterwaste-preventers. JOHNS & CO., Ltd., E., and CORN, E. R. Sept. 25, 1937, No. 26026. [Class 26] A discharge valve fitting for a flushing cistern consists of a disc-valve 19 engaging a seat 8 eccentric with the discharge passage 3, the valve having a hood-like casing 11 with inlet openings 16 for the flushing water. The seating 8 is level with or slightly above the lower edges of the openings 16. The casing has stops 23 to limit the upward movement of the valve so that its face is slightly below the upper edges of the openings 16.
